Our Praise Dance and Mime Ministry is led under the direct of Sis. Mishel Black. Sis Mishel is dedicated to the Lord as well as this ministry. She has a very strong passion for our youth and anyone who has a desire minister through dance. Sis. Mishel choreographs and teaches, as she encourages others along the way. God has given her a great spirit along with a lot of patience, and with having that she feels as though no one is too much of a challenge to teach. She likes for her team to know that this is not about dancing and being seen, but its about ministry, praise and worship.
This Ministry is comprised of males and females who love to demonstrate the power of worshiping and praising God through movement and dance. It is our reasonable service as we embody the mandate "Let everything that has breath praise the Lord".
Our Goal:
Our Goal is to help each member grow spiritually. It will equip and encourage them as they embrace the praise and worship for the Lord in their hearts. This will carry them on through their endeavors in life.
Our Vision:
Our vision is to reverence God by making ourselves available to be used for Gods work. We want to be an instruments used for the work of God's kingdom as we glorify him and do his will. (Praise his name with dancing, accompanied by tambourine and harp. (Psa 149:3)
Our Mission:
Our mission is to worship and honor God just because of who he is. We also want to encourage, teach, and witness to others through our creative movement and dance. We want to enhance our technique as we work to improve and utilize the spiritual gifts and talents given to us by the Lord. We will continue to study the word of God and apply it to our daily lives as we grow and develop spiritually. We will also serve as we gain a very personal and intimate relationship with the Lord.
Our Purpose:
Our purpose is to minister to those saved and unsaved. It is to proclaim that "God gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believth in him shall not perish but have everlasting life".
Our Service:
We encourage anyone who is open and willing to minister to God's people by way of movement and dance. Anyone who desires to praise and worship and bless the Lord. I will bless the Lord at all times, his praises shall continually be in my mouth. Our ministry is open to male and female of all ages.
